How to resize a Virtual Drive - 

1. VBoxManage modifyhd win7-x86vb01a.vdi --resize 30000 
2. boot  pelo CD com arquivo ISO do Ubuntu e usar o GParted para redimencionar o HD.

Ajustes de Performance 

1. Inibindo a paginação do Kernel. Load Windows Kernel directly into Ram - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management\DisablePagingExecutive Double click the DisablePagingExecutive and change the value to “1“. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\Memory Management\LargeSystemCache Double click the LargeSystemCache and change the value to “1“
2. Desligando serviços que não serão utilizados.
3. Memória Virtual de Tamanho fixo para evitar a fragmentação do disco.
